You can delete a sampling point in Ecobot Collector or Ecobot Manager. If you delete one by mistake, you can restore it in Manager. This article shows you how to do both.
Delete a point in Collector
The survey has to be checked out to your device. Then do either of these:
- In the survey's point list, swipe left on the point, then confirm with Delete.
- Open the point, tap the ⋯ button at the top, then tap Delete Point.
Delete a point in Manager
- Open the survey and check it out.
- Go to the Points tab.
- Select the ⋮ menu on the point's row, then Delete point.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete.
Can I delete a survey?
No. Surveys can't be deleted in Ecobot, but you can archive them. See Archive surveys.
Restore a deleted point
You can restore a deleted point in Manager, with all its data from before it was deleted. This works for points deleted in Collector too.
- Open the survey and check it out.
- On the Points tab, select Deleted points. It lists each deleted point, when it was deleted, who deleted it, and whether that was in Manager or Collector.
- Select Restore on the point's row, then Restore point to confirm.
The point goes back into the survey's list, and its history records that it was restored. See See and restore a point's history in Ecobot Manager.
