The Manage Survey button in Ecobot Collector is where you sync a survey's points, map features and photos with Ecobot Manager. This article shows you how to tell what hasn't synced yet and how to sync it. For checking surveys in and out, see How syncing works: check-in, checkout, and sync.
See what hasn't synced
When a survey has changes that haven't synced to Manager yet, its Manage Survey button turns orange. Once everything has synced, it goes back to normal.
Sync a survey
- Open the survey, then tap Manage Survey at the top right. The Sync Survey Data panel opens.
- Choose what to sync:
- Sync Points: sends your points to Manager.
- Sync Map Features: sends the polygons, lines and points of interest you've mapped.
- Send Photos To Manager: uploads the photos taken on your phone.
- Get Photos From Manager: downloads photos others have added in Manager.
- Tap Sync.
Tip: if a survey has a lot of photos, you can skip Get Photos From Manager to save time and space on your phone.
When everything is up to date, the panel says You're all caught up, and each item you synced has a check mark.
To check the survey in at the same time, turn on Check In Survey. The button changes to Sync & Check In Survey. See How syncing works: check-in, checkout, and sync.
