How and where do I access Ecobot?
Your Ecobot credentials can be used to login to two places:
- Computer browser (Chrome recommended) - from a computer, go to https://manager.ecobot.com to access the hub for getting forms and data, QA/QC, project management and more. This part of the platform is referred to as Ecobot Manager.
- Mobile device (Apple iOS or Google Android operating systems) - from your phone or tablet, download the Ecobot Collector app for Apple iOS (App Store) or Google Android (Play Store), then open it to login and begin collecting field data, taking photos, mapping features, and more. This mobile app is referred to as Ecobot Collector.
What sort of work can I do in Ecobot?
Ecobot began as a wetland delineation app, but has grown into a robust platform! The following surveys are available:
- General Field Observation - Create a basic survey to plot points on a map and add any description needed. This works great for well readings, nests, etc.
- Streams - Complete assessments for streams and ordinary high water mark (OHWM) such as:
- Wetlands - USACE 404 Wetland Determination Data Form (all regions supported)
Which GNSS Devices are compatible with Ecobot?
Many bluetooth enabled GNSS devices are compatible. Please find a full list of tested models here: Compatible GNSS Devices
Can my teammates use Ecobot too?
Yes, Ecobot is a collaborative platform where customers can view and edit each others' surveys in Ecobot Manager. You can review User Management in Ecobot on how to add teammates, or contact support@ecobot.com.
