Survey Status

Easily communicate survey status to project managers and teammates by setting statuses and notes. Statuses are visible from the survey list. Within the project, view a time-stamped status log and notes.

Survey Status in Manager

  • From the Ecobot home screen, click 'Set Status' to the right of the survey name.

  • From there, select a status, and input any notes.

  • From the home screen, you can view your survey statuses.

  • To view notes and a status log, click on the survey name. From the survey page, navigate to the right side of the screen and scroll to the 'Survey Status' box. Click 'View Survey Log'.
  • The Survey Log provides a clear view of a survey’s progress over time.

    • You can view a time-stamped log of when the status was changed and by who, along with any remarks.

Survey Status in Collector

You can view and edit the survey status in Collector. You can also review the status log directly in the field. This is great in case a Project Manager edited your survey and wants to provide notes or feedback on what happens next.

  • Directly on your home screen, you can quickly see the survey status on the left-hand side by the colors of the bars.
    • Green = Planning
    • Brown = Field work
    • Orange = QA
    • Yellow = In review
    • Black = Done
  • When you tap in the survey, you can also see the status by the survey name. 
  • Change the status, or view the activity log directly under the survey name by tapping those buttons

  • You can easily select a status, and then make a note to document the action. Whenever a status is set, it is timestamped.
