A survey's status tells your team where it is in the workflow: Planning, Field Work, QA, In Review or Done. This article shows you how to set a status, add a note for your team, and see a survey's status history in Ecobot Manager and Ecobot Collector.
Set a survey's status in Manager
- On the Surveys page, select the survey's status. If it doesn't have one yet, select Set status.
- Choose a status from the list.
- Optionally, add a note for your team, such as what still needs doing.
- Select Set status.
You can also change the status from inside a survey: select a stage in the Survey status bar at the top of the survey.
See statuses and status history in Manager
The Surveys page shows each survey's status. To see only the surveys at one stage, select that status in the row of buttons above the list. Each button shows how many surveys are at that stage.
To see how a survey has moved through its stages, open the survey's Status Log tab. It lists every status change, newest first, with who made it, when, and any note.
Survey status in Collector
You can see and change a survey's status in Collector, and read its status history in the field. That's useful when someone reviewing the survey in Manager leaves you a note about what happens next.
In your survey list, the colored bar on the left of each survey shows its status:
- Green: Planning
- Brown: Field Work
- Orange: QA
- Yellow: In Review
- Black: Done
To change the status or see its history:
- Tap the survey. Its status shows under the survey name.
- Tap Change to set a new status, or Activity to see the status history.
- To set a status, select it, add a note if you want, and tap Set Status. Every status change is time-stamped.
